Other sites just list all the laptops available, I take the time to search out what I believe are the best laptop deals under £400. You save time and get more bang for your buck.

It's true, you get what you pay for, but you can get more laptop for your money if you look hard enough. The recommended cheap laptops below are all extremely good deals and are selected with value for money in mind. Each has such a high specifications for it's price point you will struggle to beat it anywhere. The Asus EeePC aside, they all have reasonable dual core processors and 2GB of memory.
